Vision:

Community

It is the vision of TCCC to strive toward a Community environment where people feel safe to be real and not be afraid of being rejected or ignored. An environment where members treat others in the community with the attitude of "I care about you and I recognize that you are a child of God. How can I help you become what God wants you to be"?

To accomplish this we must seek the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to discern how we can help one another and then call upon the power of the Spirit to do it.

It is the goal of TCCC that every member of the TCCC community knows that there is at least one person that is devoted to helping them become what God wants them to be and that all members have the attitude "I care about you and I want to help you, with the Spirits leading, become what God wants you to be". Acts 2:42-47 describes a Christian community. We believe this is the model to follow.

Worship

It is the vision of TCCC that Worship, both collective and individual, be focused on pleasing God and not ourselves. That collective worship be a time when every participant praises and glorifies God through activities such as sang, prayer, meditation, testimony, communion, scripture reading, fellowship, preaching and teaching time, etc.

To accomplish this we must provide an environment which sets the tone for worship along with being diversified enough in the worship activities that all participants look forward to activities where they are fully focused upon God. Setting the tone for worship, planning worship activities, and implementation must be performed by a body dedicated to this ministry. The goal of TCCC is that corporate worship will be a body unifying experience with the purpose of praising and exalting God, where every member has the attitude "I care about you so I want you to experience the joy that comes through worshipping God with like-minded Christians."

Ministry

It is the vision of TCCC that our Ministry be known and recognized as one of serving others and meeting their needs. The primary focus is upon the needs of the body, secondarily upon the needs of the community.

To accomplish this we must recognize and identify all needs, not just physical and material ones. Acceptance, encouragement, consolation, spiritual guidance and growth, fellowship, and understanding are just a few of the needs that people are wanting fulfilled. Relationships are necessary to achieve this vision because that is the only way we can identify and understand the need of our fellow brothers and sisters. Relationship building requires one on one interaction between individuals and we believe this is attainable through small groups. The goal of TCCC in the area of ministry is that every member have the attitude " I care about and I am willing to do my best to help you fulfill your needs."

Discipleship

It is the vision of TCCC that through Discipleship we equip our members to be more like Jesus.

To accomplish this we must
Establish well planned youth and adult education programs directed at increasing individual commitment to continuous Christian maturity.

Develop an expectation and opportunity for all members to be involved in service to others.

Provide opportunities and encourage participation in special teaching sessions covering such topics such as Leadership, Finances, Marriage, Evangelism, Care Groups, Intercessory prayer, etc.

Stress the importance of reading God's word and encourage members to study God's word and apply it to their daily lives.

It is the goal of TCCC that every member have the attitude "I care about Jesus and I want to be more like Him."

Evangelism

It is the vision of TCCC to make all members effective Evangelists by training, modeling, and showing how to build relationships and witness to the unchurched.

By developing our members as evangelists, we will prepare them to meet the challenges put forth by Jesus in the great commission "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptize, and teach them."

To accomplish this we must develop trusting relationships that will lead to an opportunity to share the gospel message.
It is the goal of TCCC that every member have the attitude "I care about you and I want you to spend eternity with God".
