Where Should I Park?
Parking is available on the west and south sides of the church building as well as on the North end of the adjacent shopping center's parking lot. Click here to see a parking map.
Is someone available to help me know what to do?
Before each worship service, greeters will meet you every Sunday as you enter the church building. These greeters are available to assist you and help you feel comfortable with your new surroundings. If you have detailed questions about specific practices or activities, he or she may direct or escort you to the Welcome Center in our church lobby.
Once at the entrance to the worship center, you may seat yourself, or request that an usher help you and your family find seats. Our Worship Center can accommodate approximately 400 people and is equipped with traditional padded pews. There is seating available on the main level, as well as in the balcony.
Is your worship service easy to follow? Will I know what to do?
Our order of worship is listed in the weekly bulletin that you will receive from one of our ushers at the entrance to the Worship Center. The schedule is straightforward and easy to follow. We begin with singing and announcements, followed by the message from the pastor, invitation, the Lord’s Supper, offering, and closing music.
The words to most hymns and contemporary choruses will be projected onto an overhead screen. On any given Sunday, our worship team may use a variety of musical instruments: organ, piano, keyboard, guitar, or drums. We are blessed with skilled and dedicated worship leaders to guide us in a meaningful worship experience.
Our worship service at Town & Country typically runs about 1 hour in length.
Our Senior Pastor customarily presents a solid, Biblical sermon punctuated with personal application that he has prepared during the week. The sermon usually lasts about 20 minutes. Communion is served each Sunday. We have an open communion. The Scriptures teach us this time is for all who believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son, and have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior.
Will I have to stand up or be singled out as a guest?
No, everyone attending our Worship Service is asked to fill out a blue attendance card (found in each pew) and place it in the offering plate as the plate is passed. Everyone, including members, completes a blue card, so you are not singled out.
Although it is not required, we would encourage you to complete this attendance card. We want to know who you are, so we may send you a brochure with more information about our church. There is also ample space on the back to write prayer requests or write comments about the service or church. If you should request prayer or a pastoral visit, we would like to accommodate your needs.
If you are a first time visitor, you may be asked by one of our greeters to fill out a yellow card. By doing this, it will ensure that you receive a special gift reserved for our first time attendees. Once, again you will in no way be singled out in front of a large group.
Should I dress up for church at Town & Country?
Most people dress according to their own comfort levels, but it is entirely a personal decision. On Sunday mornings, you will find men and women in suits and dresses as well as in slacks and jeans. Summertime clothing tends to be a bit more casual, but there is no “dress code”.
